A PhD position is available with financial support in Dr. Zhe Jiang's spatial data science group at the CS department of University of Alabama. The group's research interests include data mining, particularly spatial data mining, spatiotemporal data mining, and spatial big data analytics, with interdisciplinary applications in earth science, transportation, public health, etc. Dr. Jiang has published papers in top data mining forums including IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE International Conference on Data Mining.
